This is fun but not a real paper doll book. Sixteen artists are each given one page on cardboard stock. Each page depicts the artist standing, a few props and some factoids. For instance, the van Gogh page has an easel, three heads of Vincent's based on self-portraits, a paint palette, a chair and some sunflowers; we are told his style is Post-Impressionism, a famous work is The Starry Night, and he cut off his left ear (though the page depicts his right ear as cut off). Artists are in chronological order by their birth year, and they are: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Degas, Cezanne, Monet, van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec, Matisse, Picasso, Duchamp, O'Keefe, Escher, Dali, Pollock and Lichtenstein.
