Independent designer, Eileen Gray is one of the most important figures in the history of Decorative Arts and emblematic architect of modernism. Also an interior designer and she created famous pieces of furniture to precious lacquer finishes and outstanding pieces of tubular steel. Forgotten, Eileen Gray's rediscovery in the early 1970s and her works have now become essential classics of the Art Deco design. The retrospective at the Centre Pompidou and the Eileen Gray exhibition produced album on this occasion can discover her immense talent.
