To mark the occasion of her 2010 exhibition at IMMA this limited edition of only 30 prints by Anne Tallentire is framed.

There (2010) uses as its material two lines of the poem 'The Hollow Men', selected from T.S. Elliot's Collected Poems 1909-1962, one of the titles returned to Pearse Street library that Tallentire used for her work A Pursuit of Happiness in 2005, which logs the reading materials of those who work for or have connection to a specific institution. For her 2010 solo exhibition at IMMA, This, and other things, Tallentire revisits this concept in a new work, The Readers, a series of enigmatic fragments from books being read by museum staff during August 2009.

In a further tantalizing connection, the two epigrams to 'The Hollow Men' (Mistah Kurtz - he dead and A penny for the Old Guy) are allusions to Joseph Conrad's character in A Heart of Darkness and to Guy Fawkes' attempted arson of The Houses of Parliament.
