These beautiful pieces are designed by Irish jeweler Eva Ohno and made by women from a refugee background in the We Make Good Textiles Studio. They are inspired by the journey the makers have taken, by the idea of recreation and re-invention and the bravery that this requires. Reflecting this theme, the range is constructed from reclaimed and repurposed materials - rubber from bicycle inner tubes and offcuts of copper with silver fastenings. Copper is a natural material, and carries with it the patina that characterises it. If you prefer it shiny, rubbing with a little lemon juice and salt will bring it right up!
