The Parks and Gardens of Dublin

Ireland’s maritime climate combined with its history of demesnes has provided Dublin with a wealth of important gardens, rich in both artistic heritage and plant collections from around the world. This book is a celebration and a history of the development of over 150 of these parks and gardens, each of which has its own fascinating story. They range from the sweeping majesty of Phoenix Park to the smallest pocket park around the statue of Anne Devlin in Rathfarnham Village.
